How We Give Back
Serendipity Soapworks believes strongly in giving back to the community and to the world we live in…as the old saying goes, “We can all eat an elephant if we all take a bite!” Well, we're not interested in eating any elephants but we are eager to do our part to make the world a better place to live for all people by sharing a bit of everything we receive with those who need it most.
We have the exciting opportunity to give back to by doing what we love...by donating the proceeds from the sales of selected products and by the proceeds of special fundraising events. Amber Heading, Founder of Serendipity Soapworks, spent almost two years doing volunteer work at a nonprofit organization in Cambodia called New Life Foundation, established in the capitol city of Phnom Penh in 1995. They are making a huge difference in the lives of the Cambodian people in over 50 villages. She was able to spend time in many of the villages, building relationships with many of the families and children who’s lives have been changed by the generosity of individuals who chose to make a difference. She has actively participated in raising support for New Life ever since and donates a percentage of all proceeds to further their work in Cambodia. Check out their website at http://www.cambodiaoutreach.org/.
At a local level, Serendipity Soapworks embraces the opportunity to donate bath products to homeless shelters, nonprofit organizations, churches, and anywhere else we see a need we can meet.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like more information or would like to share an opportunity for giving to a good cause!
